RTJ Electrical is a family owned and operated company
based in Allentown, Pennsylvania, serving the Lehigh Valley.

In 2020, RTJ Electrical was founded by owner Ryan Jones. Growing up, Ryan’s first experience in the electrical trade began with helping his father, who is also an electrician. It was with this experience that Ryan applied to the IBEW apprenticeship program with Local Union 375. Over the course of the 5-year program, Ryan gained firsthand experience in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. In addition to the hands-on training, the apprenticeship included classroom training in subjects such as electrical theory, power distribution, building automation, transformers, blueprint reading, the national electrical code, and safety. 

RTJ Electrical and its employees engage in continuing education courses to keep abreast of the latest electrical code changes and safety practices. Such knowledge ensures that quality service is delivered on time and will pass inspection, every time.

Getting to know Ryan…

After attending college at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY, Ryan joined the Sheet Metal workers union and installed signs and billboards across NYC. Now, Ryan resides in Allentown with his wife Nicole and their two daughters.

When the weather permits, Ryan enjoys surf fishing, drawing, disc golf, and flying airplanes.
